Friday, November 17th is our monthly "SV Gives Back Day" at Van Duyn. Our students will be allowed to wear pajamas to school for $1. All proceeds will benefit the Clinton Clothing Closet.

The Pilson Automotive "Drive Away Hunger" food drive ends tomorrow! You can send non-perishable food items to school with your students tomorrow morning. The grade level with the most items will receive a pizza party and the school with the most donations will earn $500.
The Junior Optimist Club at Van Duyn made signs for the Pilson Automotive "Drive Away Hunger" food drive. They're also helping with the collection and keeping of food items.

The Veterans Day program at Van Duyn will be held on Thursday, November 9th at 1:00 p.m. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m.

Pick-up will be from 2:45 to 5:30 p.m. If your child is a car rider, please pick up your child as normal and then pull around to the BIG parking lot (after all buses are gone) and we will load your items from the main entrance. Pilson Automotive is sponsoring "Drive Away Hunger" from now through November 10th. Your child can bring in canned goods and give them to his/her teacher. She will be giving a presentation that will review services that are offered by ASPIN and different health coverage options available to Hoosiers.
