Fall Break - NO School this week! We'll see you on Oct. 23rd!
Fall Break officially begins at 2:35 today! There is no school next week (Monday-Friday, Oct. 16-20). Students and staff will return on Monday, Oct. 23rd. We hope that all of our Van Duyn Vikings have a safe, fun, and relaxing Fall Break!
Don't forget that tomorrow (Friday) is Picture Day! Your student will give his or her order form to the photographer.
Just a reminder that there is no Spell Bowl practice after school tomorrow (Thursday, Oct. 12th). Ms. Hamrick sent notifications to the Spell Bowl team members and their guardians.
Red Ribbon Week will be the week of October 23-27th! See the flyer for all of our dress-up themes.
Please join us for our annual Trunk-or-Treat on Fri., Oct. 27th from 5:00-6:30 p.m. in the main parking lot.
You will be able to park in the gravel lot or circle drive and walk to the trunks this year.
Thursday is the LAST day for fundraiser orders. Please turn your orders in tomorrow.
Parent-Teacher conferences will be held on Tues., Oct. 24th from 1:45-5:00 p.m.
Students will be dismissed one hour early on Mon., Tues., and Wed., Oct. 23rd, 24th & 25th. Elementary schools will dismiss at 1:35 p.m. each of those three days.
Information will be sent home by your child's teacher.

October 2nd is National School Custodian Day. Our custodians are some of the best! Thank you to Kim Crawford, Sam Nestler, and Steve Riley who keep our school clean and tidy. Brad Simpson is subbing for us at this time, so we're thankful for him as well. Without our custodians, we would not be able to exist! Kim C. helps us get through our days and is always ready to do anything she is asked! Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of our school custodians!
