📘Sending a HUGE thank you to the Black Diamond Fire Department for hosting CES and VDES students tonight for our chapter 1 read-aloud! We loved seeing our students following along in their books as Lieutenant Mize read aloud to us.
🚒Climbing aboard the fire engine and learning about the equipment was pretty awesome, too! What a great way to kick off our 1S1B program-- strengthening our community of readers! Thank you, Black Diamond!
📘NEXT UP! Our community read-aloud for Thursday, February 8th will take place at the Clinton Community Center at 6 pm! Join us to enjoy chapter 2, and bring your book!

🐾THE STORY PUPPY by Holly Webb is our 3rd Annual One School One Book title! Thanks to a grant from the United Way of the Wabash Valley, every student and staff member will be reading the same book this month!
📘This year, the chapters will be read by different community members, and you are invited to join us! We will try to record and share the chapter readings.

📘It's almost time to announce this year's book title for our One School One Book project! For now, check out this event announcement and save the date! A generous grant from the United Way of the Wabash Valley has funded this year's project, and that means our elementary students and staff will once again have their own book for keeps! We are so thankful for their support, and we 💛 being a community of readers!
