Superintendent’s Message

Dr. Micah Williams, Superintendent of South Vermillion SchoolsWelcome back to the 2026-2027 school year!

I am entering my sixteenth year with the corporation and my second year as superintendent. I would first like to thank our students, parents, and community members for their active involvement during my first year! Mrs. Foster and I are enjoying our new roles and are thankful to be a small part of this school system and community!

Our goal for the first year was to be transparent and visible in our school and community. Doing so allowed us to receive a lot of feedback and helped shape our vision for years to come!

We will make decisions during this school year that will affect the corporation for the next fifty years! We believe that facilities and programming (academics and extracurriculars) will help attract and keep families within the South Vermillion Community School Corporation boundary lines!

Please visit our “Strategic Plan” page that details information regarding future projects and visions for our school corporation.

One Team, One Roar!
