Mr. Ryan Jenkins is the principal of Central Elementary School. He began his professional career at South Vermillion Middle School in 2002 as a 7th grade social studies teacher. During that time he also coached various levels of middle and high school basketball for both boys and girls. He also coached middle school track. In 2011, Mr. Jenkins became principal of Central. His motto is, "Helping our Students Make a Nice Life". He wants the students to leave with the tools necessary to be successful in life and be contributing members of society.

Mr. Jenkins is married and has two girls. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family. He also is an avid fisherman and hunter.
