Attention Van Duyn 4th Graders! Beginning band sign-ups for students who will be 5th graders next year will be Tuesday, April 22nd from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at SVMS.
Our Kindergarten Round Up is tonight in the cafeteria at Van Duyn! Doors open at 5:30. If you have not already submitted your new student's birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residence, please bring those documents (and your child) with you this evening.

One week from today, Friday, April 11th, we will begin our Colorful Friday Countdown! That means there are only six Fridays left of the school year for students! Each Friday for the last six weeks, we will wear a specified color for the day. Friday, April 11th, we will wear red!
Don't forget that tonight is Family Night at the Book Fair from 5:30 to 7:00 in the library at Van Duyn.
All after-school activities have been cancelled due to the forecasted inclement weather. This includes our after-school care program. Everyone stay safe tonight!
Kindergarten Round-Up is coming to Van Duyn on April 8, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Forms are available for pickup in our main office between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and are on our website under documents. They were also sent to Creative Center Preschool, Valley Daycare, and Head Start. One was sent home with all current Van Duyn students and it is also attached. Please complete the form and return to the school with birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residence by Thursday, April 3, 2025. Your future kindergarten student will need to attend with you on April 8th.

Our Vikings are having lots of April Fools' Day fun! Someone hid pictures of Mrs. Kesler and Mrs. Adams all over the school for students to find. It's been reported that 240+ photos were hidden—one for every student in our building! The students have LOVED this prank!

Spring picture order forms are being sent home today. Please keep the order form at home until Tues., April 1st (picture day). If you choose to order, your child will be called down for a photo and will give the order to the photographer at that time.
