A huge congratulations to Raylan Swinford, an eighth grader at SVMS, for setting a new school record in the 6lb Shot Put with a throw of 34' 6 1/4'' last week. She broke the previous record, which was set in 2008 by Brianna Nickels. The previous record was 32'10''. Great job Raylan!
