When, what to my wondering eyes should appear... but an elf on Central's roof spreading Christmas cheer!
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas everyone!!

Fun day at Central! Merry Mia from Silly Safari visited with friends from the N. Pole. All students were able to learn about some different animals and see a live reindeer! Our students who purchased the VIP activity with their tokens got to pet and get their picture taken too.

Good golly Miss Molly an Elf on a dolly! To make such a mess with all that T.P. sure makes Rex and Mr. Williams very unhappy!

Hungry students come to eat. What they discovered was such a treat. Breakfast today brought squeals of delight, for they had not seen an elf at such height.

Central had a special visitor today. One of Santa's elves was on display. If you didn't find him have no sorrow, he will be hiding somewhere new tomorrow!

Central Elementary had the honor of being the SV board spotlight last night. Our Central Elementary Gardeners did an awesome job of presenting. A big thanks to Mrs. Bazzani and Mrs. McVeigh for sponsoring the club and all of their hard work. Great job representing Central!

Brendan Marez-Byrd, former Central student and recent graduate from the Air Force, surprised his brother at school today before heading out to his new station over seas. It was a wonderful moment to witness. Congratulations Brendan and thank you for your service!

The South Vermillion Community School Corporation will host the "Wildcat Winter Wonderland", a community event, this Sunday evening, December 3rd, from 4:00 - 7:00 at South Vermillion High School. Parking will be on the south end of the main student parking lot on the east side of the high school. The SVMS and SVHS band, choir, and dance teams will be performing throughout the evening. There will be a variety of activities set up for the whole family: Santa Claus and a live reindeer will be available for pictures, s'more roasting, hot chocolate and pastries, a coloring tent hosted by The National Honor Society, and a variety of vendors will be set up as well. At the conclusion of the evening, we will light up the season with a tree lighting ceremony in front of the high school. The event is FREE, but donations will be accepted for our arts programs! We hope to see you there!
*If the weather does not cooperate, we will move the event inside.
