We are looking for Substitute Teachers!

Requirement for substitute teaching is 30 hours of college credit. The pay is listed in the substitute handbook under employment opportunities and subs are needed for all 4 schools.

If you are interested in applying, please complete and pay the fee for the expanded background check at https://secure.safevisitorsolutions.com/Safe/Volunteer/006254/, as well as the Form W-4, substitute application, and the substitute teacher handbook. Once you receive your substitute license, please print and bring a copy to the Superintendent's Office. You may also visit the Superintendent's Office between 8 am and 4 pm, Monday-Friday, and complete the forms in person.

SV Schools uses Aesop, an automated sub-calling system. When you sign up for subbing, you will receive information to be entered into the system.

We are looking for Bus Drivers!

Anyone wanting to obtain a class B CDL with public passenger, school bus, and air brake endorsements is eligible to receive their physical covered (if they go to the Center for Occupational Health) by the school, along with the pre-employment drug/alcohol screening (which is mandatory).

Prospective drivers will be reimbursed for the CDL test ($100 one time only) after obtaining permits, attending a 3-day bus class, and taking the skills test. 

We have a competitive wage of $25.00/hour. Drivers would be paid for 183 days per school year if hired for a full-time route 2 paid holidays and 11 leave days per year. Extracurricular trips pay $ 20/hr extra.
